One of Devon's most prominent art galleries, Green Hill is attracting the attention of some of the most respected South West artists. Names such as Peter Randall-Page, Susan Derges, and Peter Stiles have become synonymous with Green Hill over the last few years  having exhibited in the Gallery's large attractive contemporary space, and supported the Gallery’s developing programme.

The Art Shop offers space for artists to exhibit and sell their work from paintings, prints and ceramics through to textiles, wood and ironwork. Within this imaginatively converted former Primary School there are studio and creative workspaces for hire.

The gallery and shop is open Tuesday to Saturday 10:00  to 16:00.

Visitors to The Studio can see a range of mugs, jugs, bowls and planters
displayed for sale in the showroom and are welcome to come and look at work
in progress in the workshop upstairs.

Suppliers of fresh fruit and vegetables to the public and to businesses. Orders can be placed by visiting the store, by phone or by email. Orders placed by 5am can be picked up the same morning from 9am.

Dartmoor National Park covers an area of 368 square miles - the largest and wildest area of open country in southern England. Throughout the year Dartmoor is an exceptionally beautiful place to visit, with deep wooded gorges, beautiful lake-like reservoirs and tumbling rocky rivers. Dartmoor has lots of attractions to enjoy including castles and historic houses, gardens, museums and heritage centres. There are also forest walks, waterfalls, animal and wildlife parks, railways, arts and crafts centres and farmers’ markets. As well as places to visit you can enjoy a whole host of activities ranging from moorland walks, cycling, fishing and golf to swimming, outdoor pursuits and adventure.

The Miniature Pony Centre is home to our yummy mummy ponies and their cuddly babies. With our indoor and outdoor play areas, trampolines and our Paddock View Café, it is a fun day out for all the family and best of all, you can get close to pet the ponies and other animals. It is one of the only places in Devon where you get a hands on experience! Open 7 days a week from 21st March to 1st November 10.30am-4.30pm (5pm in Jul/Aug).

Moretonhampstead Motor Museum is home to a collection of over 90 vintage and classic vehicles, from Victorian horse-drawn carts to cars, motorcycles and light commercial vehicles from pre- 1920 to the 1990s. The collection is complemented by motoring artefacts and automobilia, and the viewable restoration workshop makes it more than just a museum.

Moretonhampstead has a community minibus which is available to hire at user friendly and affordable rates for the people of Moretonhampstead and surrounding communities.

The minibus has a capacity of 14 passengers (15 including the driver), with a wheelchair tail lift at the rear. The driver must have a valid UK driving license, showing Category D1 on their license and be aged between 21 – 70.
