Saturday 28th November - Thursday 24th December
Christmas Scarecrow Trail !
Because we were unable to run our summer scarecrow trail this year due to the Covid 19 restrictions we thought it would be fun to run a Christmas Trail instead. As before we want to involve everyone both locals and visitors alike. The last trail that we ran was brilliantly supported, and we are hoping that the same thing will happen this time.
The theme is 'Anything or Anyone Connected with Christmas'. The trail will run from Thursday 3 December until New Year's Day. Weather and Covid permitting!
Each Scarecrow will have number. Trail maps and forms are available from the Information Centre from 3 December at a cost of £4.00. Follow the trail and find and identify all the scarecrows as you go round. Vote for your favourite one, and return your completed form to the Information Centre by 4th January so it can be entered into a prize draw. There will also be two more prizes, one for a scarecrow gaining most votes made by someone under 11 years old, and one for one made by 12 year olds or older. The maker of the scarecrow which gains the most overall votes will win a prize and the Moreton Scarecrow Cup which they will hold until the next Scarecrow Competition.
All the money we raise will go towards keeping the voluntarily run Information Centre going for another year. We do hope that you would like to take part in this family, socially distanced Christmas event and it brings you some fun and seasonal happiness in these most difficult of times
Thanking you for supporting the Information Centre and all local businesses
